Alternative to loo brush

I don't like our loo brush - it seems to smell and harbour germs even though I bleach it.
Just wondering if there is alternative that people use for the skid marks!!

There are disposable ones, where you throw the head away after each use. They are expensive and not environmentally friendly though.

If you bleach your toilet daily, why don't you just leave the brush in the bleach filled bowl? It will always be clean.

Because then people will get impaled on the handle up their bum hole Grin

I also hate loo brushes. If there are skiddies I wipe them off with bog roll. Then wash hands thoroughly. :o

The disposable ones are crap and don't really get things clean. I have gone back to an ordinary bog brush, although they are much slated on MN in favour of putting gloves on and scrubbing down the lav.

I buy a smart price loo brush every month and bin the previous.

Just fill the little container with bleach and rinse the brush in the flush.

I don't particularly like brushes but don't have time to scrub my toilet daily.

I don't use toilet brushes. I always just squirt bleach liquid toilet gel down the bowl & leave for a while before flushing.

Ikea do very cheap white plastic bog brush with black bristles, they stay clean looking and are cheap enough to discard regularly.
