I am sure I've seen threads about this, but can I find them?

I usually wash at 40
Family prone to eczema
Washable nappies
3 DC of 5 and under

What should I go for? I've used liquid for ages, but things don't come very clean, tbh.

I've recently switched from liquid to powder tabs, and was recommended to use Lidls brand 'Formil' which is non bio. Smells nice and fresh, (not overpowering) and has dealt with all toddler stains so far. Also a very good price. Available as tabs, or loose powder.

Also, liquid detergent not great for your washing machine apparently. Powder much healthier!

We use Ecover non-bio powder. DD has eczema. Hubby has psoriasis. And we have had no skin irritation issues. We buy it in the massive big box - only onto the 2nd box of the year. One scoop does the trick. Good luck

I use Aldi - bio, non-bio and colour depending on what I am washing.

We are in a soft water area and I find 1 tablet enough unless it is a very heavily soiled load.

DD and DS1 have eczema and they seem fine with it.
