TK Maxx always have masses, for around £12 usually

Rituals ones are nice and they last for ages. They're normally around £20, but i've notices john lewis often has them on special offer.

I had a Sainsbos one once and it was horrid.

Noticed a new range in my large Next the other day. Think there were four scents, Paris, New York, London and Milan. Paris smelt gorgeous, it was a really big bottle for I think £15 ish.

ooo - just had a look at the JL website and rituals get very good reviews :)

I bought a reed diffuser from Zara Home and it lasted for ages - in fact my dd now has it in her bedroom and I can still smell the lovely scent. It was excellent value for money.

I bought a much cheaper product from Matalan. I quite liked the scent in the shop and it was a lot cheaper than Zara. Once I had got it home, found that the scent wasn't very strong and would have taken it back, had the shop been nearer.

My daughter's friend works in a lab of some kind and says vanilla fragrance is toxic and she wouldn't have the scent in her house. Can anybody enlighten us?

Yankee candle ones are nice, around the £15 mark IIRC. They're the only ones that I can smell at home.

The Parks ones from TKMaxx are filthy. They are so artificial and smell like gone off perfume. I bought some and took them back. Zara's are fantastic. Have green herbs, cant remember. Have it 3 months and still going strong. It's lovely.

almondfinger That's my fear with TK Maxx that they will not smell right.

I bought the new Next one last week in "Milan". They're £18. Mine is in hall downstairs and you can smell it all through upstairs too. I like the fragrance, which is quite fruity, like apples and melon, and the container is nice - its like an oversized Chanel no5 perfume bottle shape, and the reeds are black.
