but I will guess that either it has a water-leak that has got onto an electrical part underneath, or wires going into the door have cracked where they bend back and forth. If it doesn't happen on rinse-and-hold, but happens when the heater starts, then it will be a crack in the covering of the heating element.

You need a repairman.
