Our dishwasher is kaputt. Couldn't close the door and the lights don't go on (weird). I suspect it is as old as the house - 12 yrs. I guess I could call an engineer but I reckon it would be at least £50 just for the call out, and considering how old it is, it should probably be replaced anyway. We need something full sized and integrated with a good quick wash function. I wouldn't like to spend over £500 although can go higher if it's worth it. Also, where's best for warranty, installation and recycling the old one? TIA!

We had a Siemens one on holiday. Was brilliant, cutlery drawer thingy at top and a light inside.

Another vote for Siemens here - at last house had a 45cm wide integrated one which was brilliant, now have a 60cm wide freestanding one, also very good, 10 years old now and still going strong. Sorry no idea re warranty, installation and recycling.

We have an AEG one that I bought as grade B stock on ebay (from secondtek company) as it had a dent in it. As its an integrated dishwasher, it didn't matter at all and was a bargain! Boots Kitchen appliances looked good as well.
