Thoughts on steam ovens...?

Boring question I know, but getting a new kitchen & all the companies we have seen are trying to persuade us to get a steam oven... I know they would sell us anything, but not sure how amazing they really are...? Thoughts?

Marking place because DH has seen these but we don't know anyone who has one.

I have a steam option on mine, I dont use it. Everything ends up pale and flaccid as far as I can tell.

I really would not bother with one. I would rather spend my money on two really good electric ovens stacked on top of one another. Having two ovens is really handy and worth the money if you do a lot of cooking but if you want steam just put a tray of water in the bottom of the oven.

How much is the steam oven going to cost you?
