Spilled about a bottle of flax seed oil on tiles last night. Mopped it up, and washed with soap, but is still very very slippery!

Any ideas how to unstick my floor?

wsprinkle soap powder directly onto the slippy area. Leave for a while (20 mins or so) then sweep up. Mop with boiling, soapy water. repeat as needed (took me 2 goes after dropping a chicken getting it out of the oven)

soap????

wipe up all that is still liquid with rags*

you may need to scrape off with a rag if it's started to set.

wipe away what's left with white spirit. Do it again and again until all gone

Linseed oil goes tacky, then hard, then turns to varnish within a day or two, so hurry.

*rags with linseed oil on them will heat up, smoke, then spontaneously combust (this is true and I have seen it happen). So wet them with water and put them in a plastic bag so the water can't dry out, knot it, and bin it.

If you happen to have a bonfire you can use the oily rags to light it, but don't store them in the shed or house.

scrape off with a knife
