Do you know why my washing is going crunchy?

I don't have a tumble dryer and I am used to my towels drying rough and "scrubby", but lately a lot of my cottons seem to be drying rough and scratchy. I use non bio powder and fabric conditioner! Anyone any advice?

Are you leaving them on the line for a while? Mine are crunchy at the moment but i think they are literally sun baked in this heat!

Too much detergent? Try running them on a wash cycle with no detergent and see if the water has bubbles in it. If it does detergent build up may be your issue.
