Roomba 564 now 770 , death by dog hair........

After buying the latest ball pet vacuum , I'm throwing in the towel in the kitchen as dog hair is appalling , 2 big dogs seem to continually shedding , FFS it looks like something has been murdered every morning .
So after a long time have persuaded tight arse DH ( unless his mid life crisis motorbike needs something, or the surf board , or kite surf that nearly killed him and not forgetting the skateboard that has only seen action moving freezer) that we should get a roomba.
Just as I go to order the 564 pet version, the fuckwits have discontinued it!!! So after more investigation and Its still not clear to me but seems the best one under 400( FFS, if it goes over I'll have to promise more sexual favours!) is the 770....I hope you are following, is this correct?
Best price I have found was pentagongps.co.uk at £328 but wait for it....not in stock after that 399.
So ladies, anyone got opinions on them or heard of a better deal.
I would like to order ASAP as completely pissed off now.

The 564 pet is still available direct from iRobot.com although its £429.

I have a 555 and its brilliant, although would have to admit if i was changing it or buying new now, I'd buy a 760.

Functionality you need to look out for is on board scheduling (cos then you can programme him to automatically set off on days and times that suit your household) and virtual wall is handy to stop him going where you dont want him to.

I wouldnt be concerned about the warning light saying bin full, because you are going to empty it every time hes been round, if the dog hair is as bad as you say! Also I dont think you need a remote control, as you just set him off and leave him to it.

You will fall in love. Best thing I ever bought.

I have the 760 ( Amazon ) I have 3 hairy cats, our Roomba is called Brian and we luff him.
We've never used the remote do I don't think that's a very useful function but we use the virtual wall a lot.

I did it, I went online at Lakeland and we are the proud parents of ODDJOB, the roomba 760 , I love him already, bloody brilliant!
