yellow stain of doom

Any suggestions on how to get yellow Johnsons baby shampoo out of cream wool carpet. The bright yellow stain of doom is haunting me, so far its taken on elbow grease and a carpet cleaner any ideas?

Water?? Spray water over it and keep dabbing, it is shampoo so will hopefully fade?
I've never tried it myself so I haven't a clue really just trying to be helpful! x

Tried water, got foam, but the yellow stain remains, lurking and giving me the evils.

I wonder is there a stain Olympics practiced by children with the usual contenders of tomato sauce, beetroot, ribena and coal.dust that are lovingly ground in being taken on by baby shampoo as the under dog.

This could be more annoying than when I discovered that natural red food colouring indelibly stains oil cloth and children. Not so good for biscuits.
