Re-furnishing DS2's bedroom - can his head go by the window?

It's a fairy small room and some ingenuity will be required if we're to get in everything he wants.

By far the best layout is to have the bed along one wall with his head at the window end. When I was young my mum refused to let anyone sleep under a window (drafts and stiff necks?) Was this sensible or is my mum mad?

Your mum was mad!

haha! Did she turn the pictures to the wall when there was a thunderstorm?

Was that pre double glazing? In which case it makes perfect sense. However if itwtwas post dg then she was in fact... mad!

Your title makes it look like DS2's head is detachable Grin

Yes, his head will be fine by the window, maybe you can store the rest of his body behind the door.

Poledra thought the same. Grin

I thought that after I'd posted it too Poledra. It is a lovely head, would make a nice decorative feature on the windowsill. Smile

I was pre double glazing I suppose, but we do occasionally open our double glazed windows...
