I had 2 together in my loft last year. What a bloody racket they made.
Bought 2 humane traps from amazon. Put 2 bits of rice cake in them and hey presto within 3 nights I'd caught the 2 of them.
Took them to a field about a mile away to let go.

Forgot to mention...I put Nutella on the rice cakes. Apparently they love chocolate.

On the one occasion when we had a mouse, we baited a Trip-trap with chocolate. Got it in ten minutes flat.

I had mice in my last council house, tried traps & blocks but they didn't work, the only way I got rid of them was pellet bait I bought from local grocers, I put some down all holes I found then blocked holes with supermarket basic brillo pads. You need to find out where they are getting in from outside & get holes filled with cement, a mouse can get through a hole the size of a pencil.
