We will hopefully be moving soon, the house needs stairs and three upstairs bedrooms re-carpeting. I wanted to carpet the same throughout and keep it very neutral. I want to increase the feeling of light upstairs so won't go dark... I was thinking a beige rather than a cream. We have one DD do know we need to be at the ready with vanish carpet mousse!!! Just wondering what blends to go for really? A synthetic type or a wool nylon blend? I just want something that's comfy underfoot, while being hard wearing at the same time. I would like to be able to get someone in now and again to steam clean it too to keep it fresh. Thank so much for any advice, I have never bought a carpet in my life!
