don't bother, it's rubbish!

smells nice but carpets look identical

Agree rubbish, I hired rug doctor from Homebase ( available from B and Q as well) it was amazing. I can't describe state carpet was in I'm childminder, it now looks like new.

£22 for a days hire.

the only issue I have with rug doctor is the smell -took days to go

Didn't make the slightest bit of difference to my carpet.

I've used the rug doctor several times in different houses (serial renter) and it has it's own quite distinctive smell -I pressume the cleaning solution

it's not a highly perfumed smell, but it's definitely a smell
