Spontaneous rave!!!

The pink grapefruit anti-bacterial one, it's only about 80p & it is literally the BEST grease remover I've ever had

the panelled door on my pull-out extractor, which gets coated in grease (I suspect my extractor doesn't work very well Grin) & has always been really hard to clean - a good squirt of grapefruit & rub-down with an Aldi e-cloth (2 for about £1.20, another brilliant deal) & the grease has vanished.

So get some Smile

Powerzone FTW!! I also use the antibacterial wipes in the bathroom....brilliant.

Ponders · 31/08/2012 19:37

yes, Powerzone, forgot to say that's what they call it - thanks, Andie

in fact all their household stuff is brilliant - dishwasher tabs, w/up liquid, detergent tabs, detergent powder, food bags, bin liners etc etc etc

I also prefer their nappies to anyone else's AND moisturiser. :-)

RedBlanket · 31/08/2012 21:09

I really like the washing tablets (Almat?) and toiletries are fab.

Does it smell chemical-y. Can't stand harsh smelling chemicals.

Ponders · 31/08/2012 21:49

what, the grapefruit stuff, RedBlanket? No chemical smell at all!

OP posts:
CumberdickBendybatch · 31/08/2012 21:50

The method stuff is nicer

Ponders · 31/08/2012 21:51

it may be "nicer"

but is it effective?

& how much is it?

Piffpaffpoff · 31/08/2012 21:52

Yes, the washing liquitabs are just as good as branded ones. I love Aldi!!

RedBlanket · 31/08/2012 21:58

Thanks Ponders, I'll pick some up next week. Really strong chemical smells make me feel sick. I have to leave the house when we've used bleach.

CumberdickBendybatch · 31/08/2012 22:46

Its £3 for a massive bottle, at least a litre. Cheaper than dettol anyway

CumberdickBendybatch · 31/08/2012 22:46

Yes, effective and smells of lavender (actual lavender, not chemical shite)

Ponders · 31/08/2012 22:49

Aldi's is 80p max (may be less, can't remember) for 500ml

or £1.60 for a litre (or less Grin)

OP posts:
Ponders · 31/08/2012 22:52

scent is irrelevant

& efficacy is amazing

Powerforce (not Powerzone, misremembered!) rocks Grin

OP posts:
AndieMatrix · 31/08/2012 22:59

Yes,Powerforce it is,my bad.
No chemical smell and if you don't like grapefruit the other choice is apple fragrance....awesome. (can't have lavender smells in my house as DP abhors it and anything branded simply "citrus" just never is.lol)

RedBlanket · 01/09/2012 10:52

I don't mind what it smells of so long as its not chemical-y and keeps very thing clean.
I have been known to rewash clean clothes after MIL has washed DCs stuff in the powder she uses. The smell makes me gag.
