Family diary/organiser/something recommendations please

I have bought the organised mum ones for gifts (and for myself) but their designs are a bit plain and middle aged this year. Can anyone recommend any others instead?

I keep meaning to try the Collins Home and Work diary. And don't WHSmiths do a nice family one?

I would recommend google calendars? I can see DPs, and he can see mine, and we can access them wherever we are...
