We live in a rather small flat in London. I am just about to undertake a part-time degree course and need somewhere to work/store my notes. I thought a nice bureau with a pull down flap would be handy and good for a laptop but am struggling to find a mid priced one. M&S have one for c£700, and there are some on ebay, but do you have any ideas where else would do one? Ikea would be fab, but nothing on there.

Have you thought about looking for an antique one or would it not work with your interior?

I got one off eBay for £20. Was a bit old style and scratched but came up lovely with some polish. Keeps everything tidy. Had to collect but it fitted in my small hatchback with seats down.

Ikea definitely have one, I'm sure. I'll see if I can find it for you.

I would like an old one, but not having much luck with ebay, liked this one, but lost it. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=120967232333

An ikea one would be fine too, just nothing too ornate!
