Fruit and vegetable storage

Hi,

Very boring question! Am looking for a fruit and veg storage rack but haven't seen anything nice enough/compact (have tried John Lewis, Ikea and Lakeland). Has anyone seen anything nice? What do you do? Am keen to have something that stands on the floor to save counter/fridge space - and would prefer it to be wooden.

Thanks in advance!

Could you adapt shoe or pan storage rack, bearing in mind veg keep better in cool &dark.

Pan storage not a bad idea, will have another look. Who knew I was looking for such an elusive item?!

I don't have one as I don't have floor space. My fruit is split between 2 bowls (kitchen and dining table) and a banana tree, veg in fridge, potatoes&onions in a bag in the cupboard. Am waiting to be shown the error of my ways! I also have a lot of frozen fruit and veg because it's fresher for me than stuff that's been sitting round the house on sunny worktops all week.

Naturalbaby, that's what I'm currently doing. Just have a dark corner it would be fab if I could make use of!
