Anyone know if I can get it off (it's dry) without ruining the surface, pleeeeeease?

Marble? That's hardy stuff, surely nail varnish remover would be the best option? I can't think of anything else that would shift it.

could you try a wall paper scraper or razor blade to scrape it off? Stainless steel must be softer than marble, especially and bendy razor blade.

I didn't think of a razor blade, thank you bonzo

Marble is hardy, but the polished surface ain't.

I would try one of those little scrapers that you can use to get paint off glass windows

Isn't marble polished by buffing? It's not varnished is it?
