Guest with cat allergy - how to prepare?

Hi,

We have a visitor tomorrow, she hasn't come round before as we have a (short-haired) cat and she is allergic. I am not much of a housekeeper Blush and I was wondering if anyone has any hints. So far my plan is to dust, vacuum and wash removable sofa covers - anything else I should be doing?

Thanks in advance.

That sounds all you can really do, tbh. Open windows as much as you can, and keep the cat out.
My BIL is cat-allergic but can stay here quite happily if he takes an anti-histamine in advance - you can't ask your friend to do that but it might occur to her.

Damp dust or you'll just stir up the stuff she's allergic to. Open windows? Wash your hands before you greet guest.
How allergic? Not epipen?

Hi, thanks for suggestions. I don't think allergy is that serious and I believe she is planning to take an antihistamine before coming round.
