bathroom grime

We have a really small bathroom. The window is over the bath, which has a shower in it as well. We have a blind pretty much permanantly pulled down (a red blackout blind), apart from sometimes during the day.

As it is over the shower, it now has white stuff all over it. I'm assuming soap suds, limescale maybe? I've tried to clean it using cif (which strips the colour off) and also bathroom spray but nothing will get rid of it.

Am I just going to have to grin and bear it, and live with it? There is no point buying a new one as the same thing will just happen again.

does anyone have any magic suggestions about how to make it look clean?!

Thanks

Can you take it down & put it in the washing machine?

Fill the bath with hot water and add biological powder or liquid then soak the blind in it overnight. Next day, give it a scrub then a good rinse then out to dry.

No, can't put it in the machine; it's a waterproof one, not one you'd put in a bedroom.

I'll try taking it down and soaking it, thanks.

Damp cloth and washing up liquid on stains, then rinse clean w. damp sponge works well and you don't have to take it down ... Just dry area w. hair dryer after ...
