I just saw it on a shopping channel and it looked really good! Apparently it won won Which best steam cleaner 2012. Just wondering if any of you ladies had one and is it as good as it looked? Thanks!

i just ordered one from qvc last night, dh fell asleep on the sofa the other night and woke up to it being shown on the shopping channel, he got sucked in and recorded it to show me the next day. Will report back when it arrives, we found lots of good and bad reviews, they don't seem to last longer than a year, but we said we would see how we got on and perhaps order a more expensive one when it breaks.

Hi I bought one about 18months ago and they have their good and bad points.

  1. It takes half the time to clean the floors than with a bucket and mop.
2. However with a mop you can get to those corners and wipe over the top of the skirting boards
  1. I was advised not to use it on laminate flooring as it will eventually ruin it.
  2. The wire is very long.
  3. don't overfill it as the handle can snap.
  4. I have used the steamer to clean the grouting in the bathroom.
  5. It has lost some of its steam power.
  6. Over all if you have a large area and need a quick clean then go for it.
