Does anyone use a six slot toaster?

I'm looking for one that doesn't work like a Dualit. By which I mean, with a Dualit you turn a dial to time the toast each time you toast. I want one with a knob that allows you to choose the degree of toastedness and then leave it at that setting all week or all year. The pictures I'm seeing on searches make me wonder if they all use the "timer each time" design.

a six slot toaster?

I would love one of those. Four slot just can't keep up in our house!

The seem quite pricey, GWML but they are certainly out there. And if you aren't fussy about the mechanism, you could have one by the weekend!

Hm. I think I might try "large families". Can I post there if I don't have a large family?

My friend has 2x 4 slot toasters.

Do you think that means that she was unable to buy a satisfactory eight slot toaster?

I also have 2x4 slot toasters cause having to set a timer each time would really annoy me.

Why do I want a six slot toaster that doesn't work like a Dualit? Because the person I want to buy it for has shared with me her deepest feelings about toasters which reveal that she, like colour, finds it annoying to set a timer each time.
