Grass stains on cricket trousers

Why 'they' decided white trousers are the right wear for cricket I will never know.

Really bad grass stains on cricket trousers - they are polyester - any clues on how to get them out please?

My husband is the expert on this. He soaks his in oxy action and also adds to the wash. It has been known to take 3 or 4 washes to get bad ones out. Good luck!

Sunshine takes grass and other vegetable, ie tomato ,stains out if you leave it long enough.
If the stain is being stubborn I fold the fabric so that just the part with the stain is uppermost and put it on the sunniest windowsill. Might take a few days of cloudy but usually works. Plus its free
