good question. It is such hard work to achieve. tend to do it every six months' or so as it nearly kills us.

Pascha · 21/08/2012 20:52

Never. Fuck that. Luckily this one is not necessary to flip.

80sMum · 21/08/2012 20:54

Every 3 or 4 months I turn it end to end. Thankfully it doesn't need flipping over.

Feeling slightly OCD now given that I flip end to end and upside down when I wash the bedding...which is weekly lol and Ive no real reason too-just habit probably

Omg, I Am So Confused Now, Just Got A New Bed And I Have Never Flipped A Mattress Before, And Everyone Who See's The Bed Keeps Telling Me To Make Sure To Flip It. :/

some cant be flipped though, those with a memory foam or latex topper, just need turning end to end, ours was monthly for the first six months and three monthly after that.

I do it about every 3 monthly. I even have a reminder set on my to-do list.

You flip it to prolong the life of a mattress. After sleeping in the same position on it night after night for a while, the mattress sink into your shape. If you turn it, then you get back to a part of the mattress that's 'fresh'.
