Student house clean

DS is returning to Uni in a few weeks (same house). We are taking some stuff up this weekend and his two house mates will not be back by then. I am going to help DS do a deep clean of his room and the communal rooms. I am bleaching the kitchen and the bathroom and shampooing carpets etc.

The problem is the two black leather effect sofas. What is the best way to clean these, they are grasey and stained?

Wipe over with microfiber cloth dipped in a weak sudsy solution of washing up liquid. Wring out cloth well between each wipe so you don't over-wet the sofa. Then wipe down with old dry towel or teatowel to remove any remaining dampness. To be doubly sure it is dry, leave to air overnight with cushions off.
