I'm getting wasps in the house only started today, but have killed 9 so far. Can't find where they are coming from. Anyone got any ideas please.

They usually start coming in when looking for food as other sources outside run out. Stand outside your house and watch them - after a while you might see them flying to/from somewhere. That will give you a clue about their nest. We tend to get them nesting under eaves, in air bricks leading to chimneys etc.

they're dying before I can follow them, but they seem to be confined to sitting room. Thanks for your help

I had this a few years ago. Turned out to be a nest in my loft...

Still worth standing outside your house - do a circuit slowly and look around the roof space and chimney breasts if you have any. TBH nests die out in October so pest control might not think its worth getting rid although I would! Your council should offer the service for you.
