getting manky stale fag smoke out of a baby chair!!!!

I bought a baby bouncer off ebay - the seller said it was immaculate

apart from "one tiny mark" which looks a lot like a fag burn

Any ways, it arrived, all freshly laundered apparently - I opened the box and gagged.

It stinks.

Ive taken it all off the frame, the frame is now outside "airing" and Ive washed the fabric covers once at 40 with BIO powder and it still stinks, so its in again at 60 with MORE powder... what do i do to make it clean?

I'd try sprinkling liberally with bicarbonate of soda and leave it outside as long as possible.

fag smoke seems to soak into plastics. I find repeatedly sponging down with WUL, and leaving outside to dry in the sun, diminishes it.

If the fabric still smells after laundering, line dry it in the sun. I found airing worked on business suits in the days when people were still allowed to smoke in offices.

As a last resort, try Febreze or own-brand equivalent. It works fairly well in cars.

I feel fucking cheated to be honest, who smokes that heavily around their baby that the smell gets so ingrained like that. Grose.
