If it's really thick with limescale vinegar works a treat - you can get it in spray bottles from the pound shop. Leave it on for a bit then scrub off (don't leave for too long or your bathroom will smell like a chip shop Grin)

Bath Power is also brilliant.

I just use cream cleanser. If grout has started to discolour I use bleach on those bits. Works fine for me.

I do need to rescale the shower head though.

I spray our whole shower area down with that shower spray after every use, keeps it virtually limescale free (and I live in a very hard water area). I rinsing the area with a cold blast from the shower after use then spraying on shower spray it cuts cleaning to a minimum.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 14/08/2012 11:39

Do you not have to clean then, using that spray?

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 14/08/2012 11:45

No, just spray it on after every use (provided the shower is clean when you start using it). I then just give the shower and the tiles a quick wipe down once a week. I buy the cheap, store's own version and it works just as well as the Mr Muscle one at twice the price.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 14/08/2012 11:48

Hmm, might try it, but I'm trying to declutter the cleaning cupboard.

If the shower is new, then I think the best way of dealing with it is to use a squeegee and microfibre cloth and squeegee then wipe down every day after use. I do it after showering, whilst still standing in the shower. It keeps it all looking great and prevents mould from forming.

Damp ecloth that lives in the bathroom
