Help cleaning wall paper

Not sure if its evrn possible but have a patch of dirt/damp on wallpaper. Just moved a book case and its behind it. Any tips on how to remove???

It is probably dust shadowing. A vac will take some of it off.

You can then rub it with white bread (true!)

Is it really paper, or is it vinyl?

Do not try to clean with a wet sponge or it will smear.

If anybody ever drapes wet washing around the house or over radiators, it may well be condensation damp, as this starts behind flat furniture.
