How to get inkstain out of vinyl flooring?

My new vinyl bathroom floor was down about 48 hours before A Child left a magazine on the floor, topped with a pile of wet towels. There is now a red ink stain that won't scrub out.

Any tips for removal?

Try an eraser.

Seriously? I'm going to try that tonight. Thanks, TGBg.

Yes seriously :o

I always have one handy. They're good at getting loads of marks off things.

There. My secret is out!

It didn't work Sad. Sorry, TGBg, and thanks anyway. I DO find an eraser very handy on my grubby walls, though...

Would something like Astonish paste work? It's a kind of scouring paste and I used it our PVC window frames to get rid of tape marks.
Got ours in Home Bargains, not sure if you have one near?

What pattern is the floor, all one colour or tile effect? It may be better to cut your losses, if it is a tile effect floor and cut out / replace the affected tiles with ones that match.

Alternatively, and a bit random have you tried WD40? It gets wax crayon off stuff so may work. You certainly won't do further harm by trying it.

It's all one colour, sheet not tiles. Pale putty colour (regretted now).

I am going to try Astonish paste and WD40. I'm quite enjoying this, in a purely scientific way Smile

Many thanks for suggestions...
