Sticky leather chairs...Cure??

That's it really! I have a solid oak dining table with leather chairs - the wood is in great condition but the leather has gone really shoddy - sticky and looks really dull and lack lustre- is there anything I can/should do or is it a lost cause?!

Thanks!

Saddle soap. Cleans leather beautifully.

Haven't tried it myself but my friend swears by baby wipes. Maybe worth a try?

Brilliant! Will try both - can't make them any worse thats for sure!!!!! Thanks both!

are you sure it is leather not plastic?

some cleaning materials, perhaps including wax, may cause it.

Its definitely leather PigletJohn - just haven't taken very good care of it. Recently had work done on house and when they came back from storage and they are in brand new kitchen realised how shoddy they look.... Will try and revive them somehow!!!!
