Why is it manky?

Ours has been up in the garden for over a year and at worst it looks a bit dusty.

Bucket of soapy water and a sponge/rag/cloth should do I reckon.

i don't know why it's so manky. it's a green one but has lots of brown manky muck on it. we live in a damp place. almost swamp like.
