How to flatten and old map for display?

Do any of you know how would be best to get the creases out of an old map that has been folded away for years. I'd like to display it, but would Ike to carefully de-crease it first.

You could try ironing it under a tea towel ( non steam setting) but I think the creases add to charm of old things

I'd just frame it and the ceases will be pressed out from that.
