Any tips? Or should I just strip DD down to her nappy when she has bolognaise?

Dry clothes in direct sunlight ( if we get any). Either on the line or hung up in a south facing window. The sun will bleach out the stains.

All purpose stain devil if you can't hang stuff out on direct sunlight

Elfontheedge · 31/07/2012 14:32

Thanks. Might get some more sun in about a week!

Fairy liquid and run clothes under the hot tap before washing with bio liquid.

Inyourhippyhat · 31/07/2012 15:34

Spray with Vanish, rub it into the stain. Leave for 5 minutes then wash. I would strip DD when she eats spag bol but at 17 (years) it's not an option!!

Olympicnmix · 31/07/2012 15:35

Everyone should just wear a nappy when eating spag bol.

FreshWest · 02/08/2012 18:25

DD has what we lovingly refer to as "pasta clothes", but I have noticed spraying with stain remover and using bio washing powder does help. I also agree that sunlight when we get some does a marvellous job. Smile

I don't allow my 15 yearold to wear white if we have spag bog. I use Ace bleach. The sun does work on white school shirts.

Elfontheedge · 13/08/2012 14:46

I have to say I was very dubious but found that hanging clothes in the sun really worked!

Another one for the sun. It's great for leaky nappy stained clothes.

Doesn't have to be bright sunshine either.

naturalbaby · 13/08/2012 14:49

If only sunlight bleached banana and apple too!

NoComet · 13/08/2012 14:51

Works best if clothes are wet, sometimes takes a second soaking, but can be quite miraculous.

FireOverBabylon · 13/08/2012 14:55

This is fab at removing stains. We've got out boi-oil, blood and red gloss paint (!!!) with this baby. Bung on stain, rub in, leave for 10 minutes and put in with rest of wshing.
