Just that really.

I sort of got it aged 14 after being an utter slattern.

I have friends who suddenly snapped after leaving university.

And I have a sister who at 16 acts like a hurricane in every room she enters!

When did you start being tidy and clean, or as tidy and clean as you are now iyswim Grin

When we got fleas last month. My house has never been so clean and tidy. I had to rid the house of the little Bastards!

Touch wood we seem to be flea free for now at least....

After I had my children really, I'd never been a properly dirty person but had too much stuff and was a bit lazy about cleaning.
I changed for a few reasons
-Every picture i took of the dc had a massive mess in the background
-I was sick of having to spend hours tidying and cleaning before people visited, or being embarrassed if people popped in
-xh was a filthy pig and i had to get tidier to compensate
-I realised that clutter made me stressed and that I was a lot calmer with clear surfaces around me
-I realised that psyching myself up to do it was worse than just doing it so stopped leaving things til they became a big job ( havent managed this with ironing yet)

Not yet. My husband's filthy and I try to clean around his mess (he won't let me clean it), but I'm not a neat freak. We have too much stuff for our flat.

I'm pregnant so now getting very worried about how clean/ organised I will need to be. Thankfully I do enjoy a good deep clean and have just done the bathroom...

I hope it is a magical process that just happens one day, I would love to be a tidy person...

just before my dd started crawling, i realised that we had to stop living like students, ie doing the hoovering when either one of us could be bothered.... and do the hoovering when it was needed.

i didnt want my little girl crawling round on dirty carpets.... but then i'd take her to the park and have her crawling around on actual dirt! but that was dirfferent somehow.

Now the house is clean and tidy, but my own room is a bit of a mess, i just donet see it in my own bedroom!
