Quick Drying

The dryer bit of my washer/dryer (which I hate, BTW) is on the fritz so I have to go to the launderette to dry things or hang things up/out. I have a pair of socks which I need but they're still damp -- is there a quick, sure-fry way of getting them dry asap?

Roll them up in a dry towel and squash as much water as possible out of them. Them put them on a radiator, or use a hairdryer if you're really in a hurry!

iron them? works for me!

put them out in the sun, in this heat they will dry in no time.

washing line?

if you are in a flat, you can use a roll-away one over the bath. Close the door and leave the extractor fan running to suck the water vapour out of your home.
