Hello, have a concrete floor in the futility, just been clearing it out and WildCat has gifted us with a dead bird (lord knows how long it was there..) so we have a nice stain on the concrete don't mention the maggots

What's best to clean it with? It's utterly disgusting :(

You can get concrete cleaner from DIY shops otherwise I'd be going for the strong stuff, sugar soap or jays fluid.

Cleaning concrete will erode the surface and cause more gritty dust.

Concrete floors always make dust.

If it has no dpm or is in an outbuilding, I'd think about a Concrete Floor paint. International have a good range. For more money you can use a 2-pack Epoxy which is very hard-wearing.

If it is indoors, dry, and has a DPM I'd tile it, or put down vinyl (which you can sweep, hoover or wet-mop) if cost is a concern.

Jeyes will get the smell And worst of the stain up. Would recommend painting the floor, we have in our utility and it cuts down on dust so much, makes a breeze to clean amd mop. Floor Paint from Wickes was good and has survived well.

Thank you Smile it's a rental so we can't floor it without permission and I have been waiting over a month to get a new electric shower installed so I wont hold my breath on them agreeing to it any time soon Grin

Where sells Jeyes? Would Wilko's do it?
