A dusty house = A dirty house - true or false?
What do you think?

It's probably true. I have a very dusty house

Gluggy · 20/07/2012 13:46

Definitely false!!!!! Dust is mainly skin cells and the busier the house the more dust.....as a child minder my house is like crewe station at times!

Dirty houses always smell.

LaurieFairyCake · 20/07/2012 13:49

No, we have a stove and the dust is mostly from that and not skin cells.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 20/07/2012 13:50

Looking around at the dust, I say it was probably true.....

Blacksquirrel · 20/07/2012 16:14

Hmmm...I'm not much of a duster but my kitchen & bathroom are usually cleanish and the carpets are hoovered reglularyish so I wouldn't say my house is dirty.

Miller1977 · 20/07/2012 17:15

No a dusty house isn't a dirty house, unless its pretty thick dust! I clean regularly but its still dusty soon afterwards

Snog · 20/07/2012 17:30

If I found dust in a hotel room I would consider it dirty, even if the bathroom was shiny

I would view a dusty house (enough to notice) as a dirty house and I am a right slob :o

Snog · 20/07/2012 21:02

A right slob yet a regular duster?

OP posts:
MsOnatopp · 20/07/2012 21:33

No no no, I don't dust. My house is dirty most definitely :o

poorfoxyloxy · 20/07/2012 21:36

if you have an open fireplace, your house will be dusty. If you have dogs your house will be dusty. and dirty. yes, we like it a bit dirty here I guess!

Homebird8 · 20/07/2012 21:43

Feel free to sign the dust, but it is a bit rude if you date it!
