After the rainwater pouring into my living room, I'm past caring about any of it.

That's it, really. I'll buy some new ones. I've hung them up anyway, and they look like they belong to a different and somewhat bigger room.

I hosed down my lounge carpet on the driveway once. It smelt much better but did have slightly unravelled edges and was a bit smaller.

A friend from the Posh End of the Village, happened upon me in the midst of my hosing and looked aghast that it was actually my proper carpet and not just a scrap bit for the dogs!

I didn't care either, after 2 litters of kittens and several vomiting children (not all at once) it needed a wash that DirtDevil just wasn't up to.

I am contemplating washing my curtains this year, never done them before I don't think I'll use the hose though.

The curtains are hanging in a desultory manner. Small, creased and peculiar. The Sarkozy of curtains.
