Headbands and jewellery hell?

I seem to be drowning in the amount of dd's headbands / hair accessories and my own scarves / costume jewellery and accessories. I really need some wise organisation / storage suggestions. Any ideas?

I have a metal mug tree from Wilkinson's. Cost £2.50. There are boxes of all shapes and sizes in the cheap and cheerful shops, from tiny to huge. I once made an earring caddy by cutting card to fit in a box then punching holes with a darning needle.

What about something like this www.amazon.co.uk/Pocket-Door-Hanging-Organiser-Storage/dp/B001CTAN1Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342617133&sr=8-1 on back of wardrobe door?

We put hairbands/scrunchies on a wooden kitchen roll holder (the upright kind).

I've a tie-organiser for smallish scarves, tray with assorted tins/boxes under hall mirror and just bought an old bamboo letter-rack, 'twenties, to sit on cane corner unit in bedroom and hold/display costume jewellry (worth looking for suitable containers for messy bits).
