removing blood stains from clothes

I've just taken my daughter's school dress out of the wash to discover What I think is blood stains still all over the front of it. Any tips for how to get them out as she's only worn it a handful of times.

Rinse with COLD water, pretreat with napisan and then a normal wash with detergent and napisan in the drawer.

Soak in cold salt water before washing normally.

Another one who always soaks in salt - works a treat.

Hydrogen peroxide 9% solution sold at the chemists. Dilute it a bit, bubbles fizzes and works wonders.

Check on the facing that it doesn't bleach the fabric. Seems ok on most things.

Unfortunately if it's white board marker you are sunk.

blood always comes out of clothes easily for me (dd gets nosebleeds). I just wash as usual with bio powder and it comes out first time. I agree with pp - if it is whiteboard marker you've got no chance of getting the stains out!

Wow, thanks. I've got almost my body weight in salt so will give it a soak and see.... Regina not whiteboard markers, also the bane of my life
