HELP!how do I get playdoh out of my carpet?

that's it really!
Just preparing lunch to find a rogue tub blue playdoh being flung around my living room and walked into my beige carpet.
Disclaimer-carpet bought before kids were even a thought!
How do I get it out?

Let it dry out, then get a big scrumpled up ball of tinfoil, and rub it over the offending patches.

First though, check it doesn't leave a grey mark by rubbing it over an inconspicuous area!

Let it dry, they scrae at ti gently with an old dinner knife. Vacuum and repeat!
