Removing grease mark from matte painted wall

Help!!!

A friends child leant against a wall in our rented apartment after eating a pepperami and has left a greasy hand print on the wall. Hmm

Its coffee brown matte paint and obviously not washable child friendly paint like any normal human would use

I've not tried anything in it yet, as I'm scared of making it worse! My brain says use something to draw the grease out first... baking powder maybe? Please help, as I really don't want to have to ask the landlord for the paint details and redo the whole wall Sad

Apparently rolled up dry bread does the trick.

Flash eraser

How dry bread? As is, stale or just unbuttered? Smile

Are flash erasers the same as normal magic erasers? I've got a massive block of that, although it does tend to remove colour
