DP has suggested we get a cleaner for a few hours a week to help me out, this pregnancy is really taking its toll on me.
I'm not sure I'm 100% comfortable with a stranger cleaning up after us but I have to admit defeat with the housework.
What does your cleaner do? Is there a set routine or list of jobs or do you tell them on the day?
Do you stay in when they're there or are you happy to go out and leave them to it?

Do it and you will never look back.

I have recently hired one (we had one for a long time but foolishly I decided I didn't need her anymore as my youngest had started school full time. I was wrong.) She came and had a look around and we went through what she did, what I wanted done and how long it would take. She works bloody hard. I am sometimes here doing things she doesn't do (like the playroom, can't expect anyone else to do that) . I tidy up before she comes so she isn't faced with a Sylvanian tsunami to wade through before hoovering.

She keeps me sane, and I am a almost on top of things, getting those things done which have been on the 'to-do' list for 2 years. Sometimes I go out and leave her to it, other times I do other stuff around the house. She would rather I left her to get on with it though. My DH is away all summer and without her help I would be a wreck.
