Scuff marks on lino floor

How can I get rid of the black marks my bikes tyres have left on my kitchen floor? Tried mopping and soaking in bleach, nada

Another vote here for magic eraser sponge - DP biker boots scuff my kitchen floor like mad and my magic sponges always work. but get them off eBay - much better value; you can get massive packs for a little more than the JML cost Grin

Slice of white bread - squeezed into a ball - vigorous rub - does the trick every time !

Try an ordinary rubber on end of a pencil or a cream cleaner on a cloth

The sales assistant in our local shoe shop was cleaning black marks made by shoes off the laminated shop floor last week - with nail varnish remover!! She said she's done it for years, it wasn't lifting the colour from the floor, just completely removed the mark. Maybe an idea to try it on an area that doesn't show, first, though!
