I am trying to crush a tin / box / storage fetish but can't think what else could keep this pile of recycling memories in.

Currently they are spewing forth out of various box files.

So...where do you keep them, in what and where did you get it?

I stick special greetings cards in a scrapbook (bog standard ~£1.50 job, not those posh paper and spend a fortune on little bits to decorate it with). My DM did this for me as a child and I used to love looking through it. You need decent glue (I use PVA).

So far we have one for DH & my special cards (mostly to each otehr and our wedding/engagement cards) and one for DS- with the arrival/congratulations cards, Easter, Christmas and first birthday cards.

I have 3 DC so I ended up going through them and culing the non important items, sad but needed.

I now have a large box of keepsakes and at the ages of 10, 8 & 4 I keep nothing. maybe atendance certs, cute pics and funny I'm sorry notes

I've not done this, but will one day (sister has)!!!

Get plastic box's with a lid on, type from B & Q or Woolies type places, one for each family member, then add their own precious things to it. When they leave home they take it with them and then decide themselves if they want to keep or bin. Keep in the loft!
