Fruit stains (apricot)

Maamekin · 27/06/2012 12:31

The man in the greengrocers kindly gave my girls an apricot each today, and I stupidly let them eat them on the way home.

Now DD's white T shirt is liberally soaked with apricot juice (I've never eaten a fresh apricot, had no idea they were so juicy!)

How do I get the stain out? Should I wash it straight away, or soak it with something? I don't have any stain removers in the house, but we could go to the shops later.

Thanks!

Wash as normal. Leave on the washing line. The sun will take care of it. If no sun, leave anyway. dd's spaghetti stained leotard got clean in 24 hours :)

  1. Cold water
  1. Vanish stain stick (old fashioned sort you rub on - they are brilliant on any 'natural stains)
  1. Wash as normal

Agree with the sun approach. That just got orange juice stains out of dd's t shirt.

It is currently sitting out in the sun, thank you! 27 degrees out there at the mo (mops brow)
