Quiet kettle - pleeeeeeaaaaase!

I seem to be on a permanent desperate search for a quiet kettle - please please has anyone any recommendations? I just looked at the Which website which apparantly has a good kettle review, but then it seemed like I had to pay to see it (not in this month's budget)

Any ideas?

Stove-top kettles are extremely quiet until the water starts boiling. Downside is that they take ages to boil and it uses more power.

Have a boiling water tap fitted, instant boiling water and all the gubbins is under the counter.

One day I am GOING to have one and I will buy it off ebay.
