Does anyone know of anything I might have already in thd house that would bring up silver jewellery sparkly and bright again? One of my bracelets is all tarnished and I don't have the opportunity to go out and buy some cleaner.

Have you got washing soda? Line a Tupperware with foil, put in some washing soda and pour over boiling water. Fizzes and cleans silver nicely. I wouldn't be surprised if soaking in fat coke would work too.

Coca Cola is wonderful. Soak, then rinse in fresh water, then dry.

Washing up liquid and a toothbrush. Then buff with a microfiber cloth like you would clean windows with.

Lovely thanks I'll give them a whirl.

be careful of using a toothbrush or similar if it has stones it it, the bristles can get caught in the claws and pull them loose.

For future ref get a silver cleaning cloth for a couple of quid and stick it in a drawer. Lasts forever!
